With no need of celebration, in 2012 I will officially have been a teacher in some capacity or another for ten years. Wow! Ten years! One-third of my life! I never thought I would do anything for a third of my life. Needless to say, I've picked up few things about how to conduct myself as a teacher, how to handle children in a positive yet authoritative way, and how get through the ups and downs that kids will put a teacher through. I love teaching kids in every way, and even though this horrible California economy is making it difficult to be a teacher, I can't picture myself doing anything else.
