To Be Consumed By Music...

I have become consumed by music and music making. Everything I do and everywhere I go, I am constantly on the lookout for rhythms, melodies, and lyrics. This consumption didn't happen over night, it was a slow, gradual overtaking that hit many speed bumps along the way, but eventually I couldn't deny music's calling and I let it claim me as it's willing victim.

Not everyone I know was in full support of my decision to embrace the title of musician. Some felt that dedicating this portion of my life to music would be a foolish present decision that would carryover into ultimately hurting my future. Well, to those doubters step aside! This musical mack truck is on the move! Though I might not rundown everything and everyone in my path to reach my musical and life goals, I will do my absolute best to artfully navigate around those obstacles that stand in my way. I am the Genesh of the Guitar, the remover of negative obstacles, the music man with a plan. That's right, I actually have a plan. Like I said, this decision to be consumed by music didn't happen over night. It wasn't a cold decision, however it was calculated, the risks will be minimized and my future is and will always be taken into account. 

So Cheers! to this musical consumption. I embrace it with my entire being. I'm proud to call myself a musician.
